By naming this initiative “Silk Melody,” we are not merely reviving an ancient trade route in a modern context — we are composing a transcultural, soul-connecting world symphony.

在千百年前，絲綢之路橫越高山大漠，聯結東西方文明。它不只是貿易之路，更是文化的橋梁、思想的通道、藝術的流動軌跡。今天，我們以「音樂」為語言、以「青年樂團」為媒介、以「國際交流」為使命，重新啟動這條屬於21世紀的「現代絲路」。

Centuries ago, the Silk Road traversed mountains and deserts to connect East and West — not only as a trade route, but also as a bridge of culture, ideas, and art. Today, we reignite this road through music as our language, youth orchestras as our medium, and international exchange as our mission — shaping a modern Silk Road for the 21st century.

從中國出發，綻放民族樂魂。結合各地音樂教育機構、藝術學校與青年樂團，從中國各城市開展初賽、甄選與認證活動，播下音樂的種子，也建立在地的榮耀與自信。每一個區域樂團的培育與考級，都是一段「在地聲音」的誕生與鍛鍊，彷彿古絲路起點的駝鈴聲。

Starting from China, we nurture the soul of national music. In collaboration with local music schools, arts academies, and youth orchestras, we initiate regional trials and certifications that plant seeds of music and foster local pride. Each orchestra’s development echoes like the camel bells at the origin of the ancient Silk Road.

延伸至世界，成就多元交響。經由國際音樂節的組織與各國際音樂組織橋接，與亞洲、歐洲、美洲的青年樂團一同參與共演、共學與共創，建立真正的跨文化舞台。在「和歌山音樂祭」、「維也納國際音樂節」等節點上，來自不同國家的青年們將用音樂彼此理解、激盪靈魂，宛如昔日絲路貿易的集市──只是交換的不再是貨品，而是情感與靈魂。

Expanding globally, we build a diverse symphony. Through international festivals and partnerships, youth orchestras from Asia, Europe, and the Americas come together to perform, learn, and co-create — forming a truly intercultural stage. At events like the Wakayama Music Festival and the Vienna International Festival, young musicians will exchange not goods, but emotion and soul — just as merchants once did in the bustling markets of the ancient Silk Road.

串接平台，永續共振。數位平台將打破地理邊界：我們將建立音樂教育雲端平台、考級認證資料庫與跨國音樂人才交流社群，讓「絲綢樂章」不止於舞台，更成為一種持續發聲的文化網絡。正如絲綢之路不只是一條線，而是一整個文明流動的網絡，我們的計劃亦將開展全球長效影響力的節點。

Connecting platforms for sustainable resonance. Our digital systems — including music education clouds, certification databases, and international artist networks — will extend beyond the stage. Just like the Silk Road was more than a line, our initiative is a web of lasting cultural impact and continuous global voice.
